How PhotoPulse runs today: commerce mechanics, data handling, and where to get help. This page is written to match the live configuration of this deployment. Formal counsel-reviewed terms may supersede summaries when published.
By using PhotoPulse you agree to use the platform lawfully and in good faith. The site is provided on an as-is basis while we iterate; availability and features may change.
Accounts. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate contact information where we require it for orders or compliance.
Listings and licences. Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for having the rights to offer work for sale. Buyers receive licence terms as presented at checkout; raise rights questions via Contact or the Help report flow with order references where possible.
Acceptable use. No unlawful content, no attempts to compromise the service or other users’ data, and no use of the platform to harass or defraud. We may remove content or restrict accounts to protect users and the service.
Governing approach. PhotoPulse is UK-anchored in product positioning; governing law and jurisdiction for any formal terms will be stated in counsel-reviewed documents when issued.
Fees & pricing
The list price shown on a listing is what the buyer pays for that line before payment-processor costs. Platform economics are configured per deployment:
Platform fee (per line gross)
None configured on this deployment (checkout.platform_fee_bps is zero). All line gross remains attributed to creators in internal reporting unless that configuration changes.
Card processing
Stripe’s own pricing and currency rules apply to payment processing. PhotoPulse does not set those fees.
Payments & Stripe
Checkout is provided by Stripe Checkout. Payment status on orders is updated when Stripe notifies our servers of a completed checkout session. Card data is handled by Stripe under their terms; PhotoPulse stores payment references (such as payment intent or session identifiers) needed for support and accounting.
Operational email, where configured, is sent via Postmark.
Digital delivery
This deployment does not advertise app-hosted object storage for originals. Creators may supply an HTTPS album-style link or note that is snapshotted at checkout so past orders keep the fulfilment details from the moment of purchase.
Exact fulfilment mechanics must match what the seller described on the listing and what was captured on your receipt.
Refunds & disputes
Refunds are not guaranteed by these summaries. Where a purchase fails to match the described licence or delivery, contact the creator via your order context or use Contact with identifiers from your receipt. Chargebacks and payment disputes may be processed under Stripe and card-network rules; we may share order metadata with Stripe to resolve cases.
Acceptable-use reports can be submitted from Help or listing pages. They are logged for operational review; they are not a promise of any particular outcome or turnaround time.
Stripe Connect (creators)
Creators may complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding under Seller → Payouts so payouts can be aligned with platform rules. Stripe’s Connect terms and onboarding disclosures apply to connected accounts.
No platform take rate is configured on this deployment for line-level fees; Connect may still be used for payouts where enabled.
Privacy (summary)
We collect the minimum data needed to run accounts, orders, and email you ask for (e.g. receipts, password resets, transactional messages via Postmark).
What we process. Account email and password hash; order and payment references; trust & safety reports; contact form submissions (logged on the server and forwarded to our team inbox when configured); technical logs as required for security and operations.
Cookies and sessions. We use a session cookie for signed-in features, cart state, and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party advertising cookies in this application.
Processors. Infrastructure, email, and payments may process data on our behalf under their respective terms and privacy policies (e.g. Stripe, Postmark).
Retention. Order records are retained for accounting and buyer access to receipts; logs may be rotated or archived according to operational policy.
Your rights. Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. For requests, use Contact with the email address on your account.
